100 Percent

How many times have you heard the saying, “life is short”? Your friends might have said it to you as a reason you should do what “everyone else is doing”. Why you should party, why you should have sex before you’re married, and plenty of other reasons why you should sin. They will tell you life is short so do what you want and make the most of it. Let’s use this as a quick opportunity to remind you to be very careful who you let speak into your life. Life is short. In comparison to eternity, which is forever, life is but the blink of an eye. And God put you here, at this exact time, to do amazing things for Him.

There are so many things that will try to steal your attention away from the life God has for you. Steal you away from being a 100% sold out follower of Jesus. The distractions will always be there. We were never promised a life without them. But why let any of those things get in the way of you and the plan God has for you?

What is keeping you from giving Him every part of you? Think about that for a minute. Then take a moment to read Matthew 10:32-33. It talks about how those that acknowledge Jesus here on earth, He will acknowledge before God in heaven. But those that deny Him on earth, He will deny before God. There is no better life that you can live than a life fully sold out for Jesus! Don’t try to live your life with God at an arm’s length. Don’t deny Him. His plan for you is far better than anything you could possibly dream up on your own. And in this short life, He wants to use you. He wants to love you, help you, and make an impact with you. Let Him. You will never regret it!
